MUSHROOM FESTIVAL private class \/ event<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Choose to host our deluxe combination event, the \u201cMushroom Festival\u201d.\u00a0 This awesome 4-hour immersion course consists of a 90-minute slideshow class, a 90-minute guided walk class, and then the finale:\u00a0 a delicious cooking demonstration!\u00a0 Ryan and Emily bring wild mushrooms along, just in case…but usually we cook what we find during the guided walk that day.<\/span><\/p>\n Mushroom Festivals can stand alone as fun mushroom class events, but they also provide a great basis for birthdays, family reunions, or company parties.\u00a0 Individual people have enjoyed these events alone as well\u2014a very focused class.\u00a0 At other times it ends up being quite a party.\u00a0 Be sure to let us know how many students to expect!\u00a0 Our mushroom guidebook will also be available for purchase at the event.\u00a0 A Mushroom Festival can be planned to take place anywhere:\u00a0 at a spacious retreat center, under a pop-up canopy in a field, or in your own living room and kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n Fee: $390.\u00a0\u00a0This covers up to 6 students; if more than 6 people attend, add $20 to the fee for each extra person.\u00a0 So for example, for 7 people the fee would be $410 total.\u00a0 With some exceptions, twenty four people is generally the class size limit for this type of event.\u00a0 Choose a day between early May and mid-November.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n To schedule one, contact us!\u00a0 Send an email to info@mushroomhunting.org<\/a>\u00a0 or call (401)595-6143.<\/span><\/p>\n Private class Gift Certificates are available; the recipient contacts us to schedule\u00a0their own class day and time. Check out the SHOP tab above.<\/span><\/p>\n Ponchos are good to have\u2014drizzle or light rain shouldn\u2019t stop us!\u00a0 And the mushrooms love it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>A true rainstorm, of course, would force us to reschedule.\u00a0 There is no penalty for cancelation due to weather, or for canceling in general for any reason.\u00a0 (But obviously, if you have found that you need to cancel or reschedule your class, tell us as soon as possible).<\/span><\/p>\n
