SLIDESHOW MUSHROOM HUNTING CLASS – 90 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAn Introduction to Mushroom Hunting\u201d:\u00a0 our basic 70-minute class, followed by 20-minute Q&A session.<\/span><\/p>\n Our slideshow classes are presented in outdoor pavilions, full auditoriums, or sometimes to just one person, in their living room!\u00a0 We bring our own projector or flatscreen TV, unless there is a big TV or a projector available for use.\u00a0 \u00a0Using gorgeous photography, our basic class \u201cAn Introduction to Mushroom Hunting\u201d focuses on some mushrooms that are safe for beginners (we have a different slideshow for each of the 4 seasons); and of course every slideshow covers the crucial background of mushroom science and safety.\u00a0 Get a blank notebook and write Mushroom Hunting Journal on the cover…you will want to take notes on this presentation!<\/span><\/p>\n Fee:\u00a0 determined on an individual basis, but generally it is $190.\u00a0 There is no class size limit for a slideshow event, so you can invite as many people as you want; they could potentially split the cost with you, or you can have it be free to attend.\u00a0 That is up to you!\u00a0 As a host of this event, if you decide to charge your own admission fee, we will still collect our<\/em> fee from you, not from the individual attendees.\u00a0 \u00a0Available year-round.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n To schedule one, CONTACT US:\u00a0 send an email to info@mushroomhunting.org<\/a>\u00a0 or you can give us a call (401)595-6143.<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cIntroduction\u201d class is the popular choice, focusing on mushrooms that are safe for beginners, and covering all the essentials of the hobby.\u00a0 However, we offer other slideshow classes too, and they can even be arranged into a custom-designed course series.<\/span><\/p>\n Our available specialized<\/em> slideshow classes are:<\/span><\/p>\n “Boletes and Other Intermediate-Level Fungi”<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMushrooms are the Meat:\u00a0 Wild Edible Fungi for Vegans and Vegetarians\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWild, Wild Mushrooms\u201d (See Children\u2019s Programs in the CLASSES tab above)<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
